Where are you located?

Our address is 5955 FM 360 Needville, TX 77461. Take Hwy 59 South from Houston. Exit Hwy 36, Rosenberg/Needville, and go left (south) for about 5 miles. Take a right on Williams School Road and go about 3 miles to stop sign. Take a right at the stop sign onto FM 360 and we are the fourth driveway on the right, almost a mile down. We have a large white sign at the driveway and a gate that is latched.

How much do you cost?

Our services are free to anyone who needs them.

How do you survive without charging?

We survive on grants, gifts, fundraisers, and horse sponsorship.

What can I do to help?

You can sponsor a horse or donate water, feed, or equipment, but nothing is expected for services. Please visit our “Donate” section for more information.

How long have you been around?

We have been operating as a 501(c)(3) charity since August of 2010.

Can I write off my donations?

Donations are considered gifts to the organization, not as payment for services. When we close out our year, we send you a thank you letter with your yearly total (must be over $250.00) and all the information the IRS will need. The IRS sets the minimum at $250 but there is not a maximum amount that you can write off.

What should my child bring/wear?

Loose-fitting clothes that can get dirty, closed-toe shoes, and a bike helmet (if your child needs their own helmet due to sensory challenges or otherwise). Comfort objects are allowed, but electronics are discouraged around the horses. Bring sunscreen and insect repellent if your child is sensitive, and drinks for before and after the session.

My child wears braces such as AFOs and various other orthotics. Can he/she wear them while riding?

Depending on what part of the body the brace supports, we usually remove any orthotics before sessions so that your child gets the maximum benefit from riding. Our volunteers are always there to help support children with poor muscle tone, balance, and/or core strength.

Can I bring my other children?

Yes, as long as they are supervised and follow our posted rules. Please be aware that the child who is riding will be our main focus, and any others are fully your responsibility.
